DonOfDesperados Feb 5, 2005 01:03 PM

liqidvenom Feb 5, 2005 01:05 PM

i have the best solution for u... have your gf pay to have the leather cleaned by a detail place.

DonOfDesperados Feb 5, 2005 01:07 PM

^^^very good solution

PAREDLINE Feb 5, 2005 01:17 PM

You can use Bleache White to clean the stuff up. It's really strong. Make sure you wear gloves.

For the smell you can use Febreze or Baking soda. Let the baking soda sit for about a weekend and it should absorb much of the smell.

Thats what detailers I know have used- just plain baking soda

Kazao Feb 5, 2005 03:45 PM

I hate having drunk people in my car. One time this drunk kid was standing by my car and trip over something, he slammed his head right into my taillight and broke it.

illmortal Feb 5, 2005 03:49 PM

Shoot I dont even drink nor eat anything in my ride... no matter how good it looks or smells

maxima_kenny96 Feb 5, 2005 04:04 PM

:deezo: Yeah...dont let her drink anymore...and a bunch of air freshners, maybe leave ur windows down while ur driving around for a little while

Max96LSU Feb 5, 2005 04:10 PM

I would use baking soda.....I've heard it works well.

kbmaxima Feb 5, 2005 04:20 PM

thanks guys. think i'm gonna go with the baking soda and febreze. =T I even had to get a machine car wash today on my superblack from all the spots on the side of the car, since im dorming and no hoses around. even more swirlies to add to the collection. so yea im gonna breakup with this girl and then do an 8 hr. detailing job hahaha.

You should have accidentally slammed his head into the other light.

Just because one new taillight and one old taillight looks kinda funny. May as well just buy the set

Pimpmobile Feb 5, 2005 04:46 PM

thats why I LOVE POWER WINDOWS!!!
get the drunk bastards to hang out the window, fresh air and no puke... on the inside atleast!

magneto112 Feb 5, 2005 04:55 PM

I had someone puke in my car awhile back however most was on the door and not on the tan leather. i just used interior cleaner. The one I use has a very strong and good smelling scent, so it cleaned it up quick and it smelled real fresh. I was pissed off, but it worked out fine. The following day, I just used some more interior cleaner and sprayed a little air freshener on the carpet. Good as new.

kbmaxima Feb 5, 2005 05:53 PM

forgot to thread this before

ok so i was cleaning my car all day today. somehow my girl.. wel now ex girl go puke onto the courtesy light on the door. I have leds in there adn it showed everything and was all in the crevice b/t the light cover and door. So when I finished cleaning the passnger side one, I noticed my driver side had some roadsalt goin in there too. I took the cover off and as I was trying to take the bulb out, I stupidly had my screwdriver in hand. I touched the metal contacts ont he courtesy light. Now the light is dim and is on constantly. So I swapped the driver/passenger courtesy light and the bulb lit up brightly only in the passenger side, so the bulbs are good. I apparently messed up some wiring or internal fuse??? if that's the case, does anyone have an extra driver side courtesy light?

s0ber Feb 5, 2005 06:12 PM

Sucks dude, wtf you broke up with her because of that.. lol :\

Nah I dont have one.

maxspeed96CT Feb 5, 2005 06:24 PM

well at least you got leather.... only plus it has over cloth :shiner:

99SEL4ME Feb 5, 2005 08:38 PM

Sh** man, if anyone ever puked in my car, I'd be so grossed out that I don't think I'd be able to clean it myself, I'd probably puke just from the smell!!! If anyone was drunk in my car, I'd make them hang their head out the window and then I would put the window up just far enough so they couldn't bring their head back in so if they puked, go to the pressure washer and you're done, NO PUKE SMELL IN YOUR MAX !!!

Crockpot Feb 5, 2005 11:07 PM

I work at a leather store.. try this stuff http://www.applepolishes.com/applepolishes/Default.htm
I'm not sure if it will get smells out.. but it should get your stains out

Maximeltman Feb 6, 2005 12:37 AM

i remember this one time that i puked in my friends ride...i was telling him to pull over and he wouldnt, so i was fumbling for the damn power window button and found it but he had it disabled(he has a kid) so i puked, but was able to hold it in my mouth for about 3 seconds, before extreme pressure buildup took over and i just had to let it out all over the place. this was last yar during winter, and the **** ended up freezing in the car

I hate to say this, but if it's like animal pee, there is nothing you can do, it's ruined. Cleaning will at least make it sanitary, but it will not get the smell out. At minimum, you need something with enzymes. Try a pet store.

barfcicle mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Scruit Feb 6, 2005 08:44 AM

I picked my kid up from daycare (was 8mo old) one time and he was really cranky. I held him with his head on my shoulder. He barfed all down my arm, back and leg. ("Did he get my cellphone? No? Cool")

I had no choice but to drive the 45mins home with him and me covered in barf. Three times during that journey he barfed more. I found barf splattered on the inside of the rear doors... :goofy:

Thankfully I have leather so it cleaned up pretty quick, but on hot days I can still smell barfy prunes. :bill:

Did what happen, the courtesy light or the puke? I already gave you a suggestion for the smell, which probably wont work but you have to at least try. Go to Petco or Animal Shack and get what people use when an animal relieves itself on carpet or furniture. The stuff contains enzymes. Without it, your just trying to perfume over something that stinks. Having someone puke in a car is maybe less common than you think.

Hectic Feb 7, 2005 05:07 AM

i've had one person puke in any car i've had or driven and it was in my mom's 91 maxima (not mine) in like 1998. co-worker dude went home early because he felt sick and i made the mistake of driving him 10 miles on i-84. luckilly we had an agreement that if he felt sick he would tell me to pull over. so there i am halfway through the trip going 75 when he yells from the back seat, but before i could stop he rolls down the window and sticks his head out at about 50 mph. problem is, he ended up getting some in the door handle pit (3rd gen) and the power window button. wasn't too bad, q tips and paper towels and a lot of disinfectant is what you want to use. at least that's what i used.

Max96GLE Feb 7, 2005 05:33 AM

Been there, done that! I try to puke out the window, make it easier to clean in the morning. I rather clean the exterior than the interior. There were one indicent where my friend finished half a gallon of red wine. Yes, half a gallon. He was so drunk, he puke all over my friends back seat (Lexus GS300). When he woke up, he denied doing it. Hehe! He was the only one in the back seat. My friend had to take out the whole back seat to do some spring clean. His family is not to thrill about him and future social gathering.
