Tomorrow is when I'll buy new springs and struts for my ride. I've decided to get KYB AGX with MaxSpeed springs & a FSTB from ebay. I was trying to get illuminas, but I'll wind up spending almost $600, which I don't wanna do.

how much did you pay for this AGX/Maxspeed combo ?

Well, the AGX are gonna be $357 and change and the maxspeed were $108 shipped. I plan on picking the AGX up, so I don't have to pay for shipping, but I'm still thinking about getting the illuminas off of performancepeddler.com for $408 shipped. The downside to the illuminas is that I have to wait 2 weeks for them to get them in stock, and then wait for them to ship after that

I got my Tokico Illumina kit friom this same seller. Very good/smooth transaction and came very quickly. Total price comes to $514 shipped (+ $5 req'd ins.). I think it was $560 shipped for me, about a year ago now. IMO this would give you better dampers AND springs. I think it'd be worth the $49. In the long run $49 isn't much for a more comfortable ride and lower drop. Good luck. Whatever you do, have fun with your transformed max (stock suspension kinda sucks IMO).

Congratulations on the setup but why make a thread about it? Why not wait til after you get it done and show it then? I know you're excited about it but it has nothing to do with us.

Is that even necessary to post Dave or are you just trying to get your post #'s up.....there is really no reason to post it cause people talk about their new mods all the time...
