sweet, I was actually thinkin of gettin the coupe stock wheels and powder coating it black with a silver lip.

s0ber Feb 14, 2005 01:03 AM

I'd like to know how max_noob got a centercap to fit the front wheels O_O

a_prince1 Feb 14, 2005 01:24 AM

Do the coupe wheels stick out alittle? The rears are suppose to be slightly wider than the fronts on the G35 aren't they?

Max Noob Feb 14, 2005 02:08 AM

mine arnt the ones that angle in alot.. the sedan type i guess.. i guess the nissan and infinity caps are a perfect fit on those. guy i bought the wheels from said the caps came off the new altima. i actually like these ones better, the angle that the coupe ones go in makes them look kinda funny. dont get me wrong though, they still look dope. jsut the sedan ones seem to compliment the maxima styling better by not angeling in so much.

Ceasars Chariot Feb 14, 2005 02:21 AM

Hi guys, do you think the 235/50/17 wheels will rub on a lowered 1997 Maxima w/Maxspeed?

Sober has a picture of this

Sober: What size tires are they?

The tires that were in that picture were the 235/50/17's... How much of a drop is maxspeed? If its not lower than 2" I wouldnt worry much about it unless you have back passengers...

NOW, with my 235/45/17's I dont rub anymore.

cbw77 Mar 19, 2006 04:07 PM

Nice pics!

MDeezy Mar 19, 2006 04:24 PM

Dont they ban people who bring up 1+ year old threads?

cbw77 Mar 19, 2006 04:56 PM

I needed to get 15 in, so I can post a question....sorry.

Dooley Mar 19, 2006 09:07 PM

I have 235/50/17's with a H&R/Illumina setup, I rub occasionally with rear passengers on certain situations where both reat tires are hitting a dip at the same time (like going over a cross road, etc). Not too bad. I am going to get 235/45/17s when I re-shoe...

for worthless threads i think they should...

ardika Mar 20, 2006 12:31 AM

Sober and Dooley:

Thanks for your replies. Seems to me that the safest bet would be 235/45s. I do occasionally carry passengers and stuff in the trunk so I don't want them to rub.

aih98max Mar 20, 2006 09:21 AM

WTF WTF WTF...retarded ****ing thread

Dooley Mar 20, 2006 01:45 PM

Quick question, my wheels are staggered (8" width on rear, 7.5" on front). With the 235/45s fit on the 7.5" OK? Anyone tried this?

Thanks!
