Pic's of 4th Gen with 6th gen Wheels
I'd like to see pictures of a 4th gen maxima with the 6th gen wheels. Interested in both 17" SL and 18" SE versions. Looking at some used sets and wondering what they look like on 4th gen. Tried cardomain, but I can't find a way to search for cars with factory alloys. Thanks-

Anyone????
..bump.. :hmmph:
I've seen quite a few around here.. then again theres about 5 Maximas per block here. They look nice but they do look very heavy
i bet you all 5 look better than yours
:hide: |
They probably do... I need to take some new pics of my car...
i dont see the point of rims for a max without the drop people here in NYC dont make any sense all their cars look nasty with 18's and no drop

you might have more luck with the 17" fifth gen wheel, not too many have the sixth gens yet
because 6th gen wheels without drop look like ishnit
when i looked at the pictures of the 6th gen wheels on the 4thgen, even with a drop, i think they look like ish....get the 5th gen 17's and your all good
i got the 17's from the G35 and they look pretty good besides the fact that it looks like a truck. but i'll fix that this spring when replace the suspension.
yeah IMO the G35 17's look nice. Id go with those as well...

yea yea, havent heard that before...
i dont wanna drop it for a few reasons; money, horrible ride unless i get expensive ones, and the fact that i'll have it for less than year more... so... |
digitaltexan2u and mymax97 have 6th gen rims on there broncos...er...maximas.

of course you dont think it looks bad, look at your name.... :igor&donk |
lol^^^^^ too funny
yes, def. a huge prob with the weight. tears up brakes, speedo off, trip off, odo off, everything else is fine...
Anyone know what the stock 18's weigh? The OEM 2004+ SE tire is a 245-45-18 which is way too big for a 4th gen. A 225-40-18 would give you correct speedo, odo and signifucantly reduce weight. Would also take away some of the 4x4 look.
The red car looks like it has lower profile tires. |
you mean 225/45/17 tire size.
Nope, 225-40-18. I corrected above post. I had it as a 17" tire. Tough to get one of those on an 18" wheel ;^)

There should have been a question mark at the end of your thread title. :( |
I think they look good, that red max looks hot!!
the goldish one looks ugly cause the tires have a thick profuile plus it has no drop. And if someone is looking into 18's , weight is clearly not a problem to them |
