Pic's of 4th Gen with 6th gen Wheels

I'd like to see pictures of a 4th gen maxima with the 6th gen wheels. Interested in both 17" SL and 18" SE versions. Looking at some used sets and wondering what they look like on 4th gen. Tried cardomain, but I can't find a way to search for cars with factory alloys. Thanks-

I've seen quite a few around here.. then again theres about 5 Maximas per block here. They look nice but they do look very heavy

2 Da Max Mar 23, 2005 03:03 PM

i bet you all 5 look better than yours

i dont see the point of rims for a max without the drop people here in NYC dont make any sense all their cars look nasty with 18's and no drop

...and what the hell is you talkin about? Who mentioned anything bout a drop? LMAO. Wow. *shakes head*

A Flood99 Mar 23, 2005 03:22 PM

you might have more luck with the 17" fifth gen wheel, not too many have the sixth gens yet

SiCkBLaCKMaX99 Mar 23, 2005 03:27 PM

because 6th gen wheels without drop look like ishnit

Mr.Duck Mar 23, 2005 03:33 PM

when i looked at the pictures of the 6th gen wheels on the 4thgen, even with a drop, i think they look like ish....get the 5th gen 17's and your all good

maximus_96 Mar 23, 2005 03:35 PM

i got the 17's from the G35 and they look pretty good besides the fact that it looks like a truck. but i'll fix that this spring when replace the suspension.

monty95 Mar 23, 2005 03:39 PM

yeah IMO the G35 17's look nice. Id go with those as well...

Due to the A32's overwhelmingly large 4x4 stock wheel gap, any wheel will look like sh*t without a drop.

jackiss2888 Mar 23, 2005 05:04 PM

ahhh, i have them, ahhhh!!!!!

check my cardomain on pg 2 for more...

jackiss2888 Mar 23, 2005 05:16 PM

yea yea, havent heard that before...

i dont wanna drop it for a few reasons; money, horrible ride unless i get expensive ones, and the fact that i'll have it for less than year more... so...

Nismotic Mar 23, 2005 06:06 PM

digitaltexan2u and mymax97 have 6th gen rims on there broncos...er...maximas.

oh really? You must not know your springs too well :D

most people cut sprints out back because they sit higher in the back than in the front :p

of course you dont think it looks bad, look at your name.... :igor&donk

2 Da Max Mar 24, 2005 04:32 AM

lol^^^^^ too funny

jackiss2888 Mar 24, 2005 05:00 AM

yes, def. a huge prob with the weight. tears up brakes, speedo off, trip off, odo off, everything else is fine...

Jeff Bjerke Mar 24, 2005 07:40 AM

Anyone know what the stock 18's weigh? The OEM 2004+ SE tire is a 245-45-18 which is way too big for a 4th gen. A 225-40-18 would give you correct speedo, odo and signifucantly reduce weight. Would also take away some of the 4x4 look.
The red car looks like it has lower profile tires.

vsamoylov Mar 24, 2005 11:15 AM

you mean 225/45/17 tire size.

Jeff Bjerke Mar 24, 2005 11:37 AM

Nope, 225-40-18. I corrected above post. I had it as a 17" tire. Tough to get one of those on an 18" wheel ;^)

ptatohed Mar 24, 2005 12:18 PM

:o)

There should have been a question mark at the end of your thread title. :(

maxspeed96CT Mar 25, 2005 02:49 PM

I think they look good, that red max looks hot!!

the goldish one looks ugly cause the tires have a thick profuile plus it has no drop.

And if someone is looking into 18's , weight is clearly not a problem to them
