GUYS i'm SO confused......Everyone help me out please!!!!
[B]There was a question asked when i just bought the y pipe on ebay.....the question was.....for the Warpspeed Y PIPE......."Which flex style do you prefer? The lined stainless or ball and socket type?
Which one is better??? |
stay away from the ball and socket, there have been many problems that have been posted, get the lined stainless, or the regular y-pipe.
|
really? many problems???? ok, well i guess my other choice is the lined stainless.......Will i see a lot of difference when the y pipe gets put on??? and like will it be any sound difference?
|
i mean this is the best mod for the money, CAll up warpspeed and tell them you are from the org, and they will give you the lined stainless for 160 shipped. Also this has been proven to pump out up to 15 hp. You wont hear any difference unless you go WOT, than you will hear a nice lil growl, i love it when i go WOT it sounds mean! :D also the exhaust tone that your muffle gives out has a lil rumble too, but its sooooooo quiet.. i only noticed it when i was like... RIGHT next to my muffler.

ok cool thanks a lot :)

For the money, the y pipe is great. I noticed a slight noise increase. Nothing dramtic, just a bit of a deeper growl.
At WOT, the intake is so loud I dont really notice the Y pipe. Only a hanfull of people have the new ball and socket set up, and a couple have complained of it leaking at that section and it being very hardd to get it to seal up correctly. Go with the traditional lined flex section. |
