I honestly think that they front rotor's were cut too thin when they were resurfaced. should I go for stokc replacements? ever since the brakes were change I've always known that pedal felt a little softer.

Get a micrometer
 

A soft brake pedal is usually a sign of air in the lines. Bleeding the brakes should solve the problem.

Rotors which are cut too thin are more susceptible to warping and brake fade. They do not manifest themselves as a soft pedal. If you are concerned about your rotors get a micrometer and measure the thickness. See Chilton page 9-11 or Haynes page 9-10.

Front rotor, minimum thickness 20mm.
Rear rotor, minimum thickness 8mm.

Front rotor, maximum thickness variation 0.01mm.
Rear rotor, maximum thickness variation 0.02mm.

We did bleed the lines twice when the brakes were changed but still got the same soft pedal feeling afterward. I will have to pick up one of those micromeeters.
