... That doesnt mean the bulb has burnt out... I had the light on and after some time it went away itself. I assumed the problem fixed itself. Then I put in my intake and now it is back on again, so it didnt go out because it burnt out in my case.

My CEL turns on every time some major work gets done on the car, especially when I used to bring it to the stealership. It usually went away after a few weeks. I think it might just be that the sensors are extra sensative, sometimes.

no the reason why your CEL goes away because some codes use a 2 trip cycle and other types of cycles. Like you can start up your car and have a problem but CEL wont turn on. Turn it off and let the car sit for a while and then turn the car back on and if the same problem is detected then the CEL will turn on. After about 100 cycles if the problem doesn't show up anymore the CEL will go away.
By cycle i dont mean turn on and off instantly. But more like drive around let the engine warm up and then let it cool down. Most likely a typical person needs about 2-3 months to go thru 100 drive cycles.
Not all CEL are 2 cycles, some are 1 cycle ( which is instantly) then are some other types as well.
