pics of 4th gen on 6th gen 18's?

anyone have pics of this? i want to see what it would look like unlowered...i'm assuming like its on stilts but i wanted to see for myself.

Chickan Jul 8, 2005 11:42 AM

not lowered it is going to look like a 4x4. You should really lower it if you are going to put bigger wheels on it.

SoLid97SE Jul 8, 2005 11:49 AM

well i'd like to see pics of it lowered on 6th gen 18's too...just curious how bad it would look on stock suspension.

Looks nice but don't those suckas weigh like 27lbs each?

Jason R Jul 8, 2005 03:01 PM

yep, i'd rather use them for boat anchors than wheels on my car.

jackiss2888 Jul 8, 2005 05:13 PM

buhhh... very heavy and odd not lowered... believe me, i know...

I think your ride looks good. Suspension drops are expensive, be patient. :)

maxiquin Jul 8, 2005 06:40 PM

350z wheels, looks almost the same, thinner/straighter spokes

jackiss2888 Jul 8, 2005 08:24 PM

kash, i never noticed how much the ecstas really bring out the look, cuz my eagle rsa's are way too big. i like it a lot man.

oh, and thanks maximaboy.

V8ETR Jul 9, 2005 01:03 AM

dude im digging the 6th gen wheels how much did you pay and where did you get them?

eLMo Jul 9, 2005 02:03 AM

Jack till you get a body kit or something your car is gonna look like a monster truck. No offense or anything. Kash the Rippers is perfect body kit you should get with those rims. I shouldn't be speaking since both my cars are bone stock but I think it will look better with a body kit.

well, we also need to realize that Kash's are 6th gen wheels. they are 350 wheels, which have a skinnier spoke and smaller lip, both of which contribute to a sportier, more visually appealling look.

nevertheless, I am completely aware of my pathfinder appearance. but then again, shoudl i end up at the naval academy next year, i dont plan on keeping the max for 3 years in a garage or outside under a car cover.

the ectas are nice, i just need to get a wider set......probably 235, maintaining the same sidewall height..

right now, they are 225, 40, 18

SoLid97SE Jul 9, 2005 10:49 AM

jackiss2888 Jul 9, 2005 11:05 AM

no, the rims themselves are equal size, it's just that the tires that they come with when taken off a 350z are wider in the back (RWD)

oh jeez... is this true? are they really bricks?

i was thinkign about getting a set of altima 18's with tires for a decent price. but not if they weigh as much as me each.

max2di4 Jul 13, 2005 01:32 PM

I lowered my max 2 inch on the 6 gen 18". check my link

zad1 Jul 13, 2005 01:46 PM

looks way better with the 225 40's on there

224 40's?! Hopefully you meant 225's, but even so 235's would be more like it. The tires don't even meet the outside of the rims properly with 225's.

zad1 Jul 13, 2005 01:56 PM

ya i meant 225 40

Doc Jul 13, 2005 01:57 PM

Thought so, Zad. Not trying to bust your jewels, just keeping you honest...lol.
