I've had my MEVI uninstalled for over a year now...
 
And this is how good my $.99 Napa check valve and the Napa canister and my mitsubishi solenoid are... I took my MEVI off my car over a year ago and sold it, but kept all the other stuff (rpm switch, vac canister, solenoid, etc), and I just now unhooked the check valve from the vac canister (it's been sitting in a box in my storage room for a year now) and the vacuum canister still was holding vacuum and I heard the rush of air going in it when I unhooked the valve... 1 year after uninstallation lol.
