we need a new car in the family, so my dads gonna take my 2k1 gxe, and then i have $20k to buy a car, that $20k includes the car, tax and title and liscence, and the cost of the first years insurance, then i get to use the rest(whatever is left) for mods. i was thinking of getting a 97-99 max se or gxe. i am wanting to get your opinions on the 4th gen, since you all own one. i dont want leather or the bose, sunroof would be nice, but not necessary, automatic, all power options, keyless entry, etc. i'm thinking that i might be able to get one with less than 50k miles for maybe $14k, if i deal it well. i was wondering what the costs of the following items is, i've seen a lot of people with this stuff on this board, so it seems like the hot items you must have if you own a max:
stillen body kit
stillen fstb and rsb
stillen y-pipe
stillen b-pipe
hks exhaust
lower springs(eibach prefer)
i think that covers all the main upgrades, if i left any important ones out, please fill me in, thanks in advance.

if you get the supercharger, you need guages. also, add a amp and subwoofer to the bose.

all of that is cool....

except the supercharger, thats the most expensive mod, but all the other stuff, i want (if i get a 4th gen), i'm also gonna get a really nice stereo system, in dash cd changer, component systems, 2 amps, 2-3 subs, i really want a nice stereo, and then the mod, and if its still in the budget, a supercharger btw, whats the difference in price and performance on a supercharger and a turbocharger, which is better?
