GRR! Left windows down....rained last night!
So yeah, the interiors kinda wet, or just damp, actually. But what's the best way to dry it out quickly? I took out the floormats, bottom of the backseat and the headrests and reclined the seats. Then I had the car running and cranked up the heat while i toweled everything down. Everything seems to work still: radio, windows, except for the sunroof! It was open, so I tried closing it, and it would go until just before it kinda angles up to level off. It just stops and is not flush with the roof of the car. I checked the rails where it runs on and tried to clean them out, (not much was in there), and still no luck. any ideas?
crappy morning
(this happens to pretty much everyone, right...? )
thanks.

yeah, i think i gota about 3/10" so i dunno. enough to soak everything. I was at a friends house and didn't think i was gonna be spending the night, but I guess so. that was a fun ride home, too.
hmmm, maybe i should just drive around a bit and air-dry it out?

that happened to me in my prelude. but the sunroof drain lines were clogged. everytime i hit the brakes i would get a waterfall from above. it was somewhat refreshing. just leave the car out in the sun and put the windows down. and febreeze the shi@t out of it, b/c it will smell really musty.

yeah, it's already starting to smell really funky in there. damn, i'm retarded! the seats are pretty dry from the sun, but the carpet is the worst. is febreeze the best for it? i'll probably get some kinda spary-on carpet cleaner also.

in the car manual i remember it saying that if you get the inside wet, it wont dry because of the cars design. i got my seat wet once too and it took foreeever to dry, it felt like it didnt dry for a week or more. because nothing can evaporate from inside your car

i was at a friends house and just planning on stoppin by for his b-day party, but then ended up stayin longer than expected. you know how it is! but whenever i stop somewhere, I always put them up. fortunately, i'm not like most of you New Yorkers; i live in the burbs of minneapolis, so it's not too rough around here at all. damnit. oh well, the upside is I got to drive my dad's 04 TL to work and around today! what a faqkin sweet car!

I did the same thing - but with the sunroof.
This is what I did
1. whenever driving have the a/c on recirculate to draw out the moisture
2. got an ionic air cleaner from Brookstones (no bs!!!!)
I always had a musty smell - eventually just when I got in the car and would go away once the air started moving - but about 3 days after using the air cleaner - no more smell.

ok. would a full interior detail help? cuz my dad wants to buy a gift certificate for it for my birthday. i told him that I was kinda thinking i would clean it myself instead, but not, maybe having a professional take care of it, (quality shop, by the way), would be best. do they shampoo carpet when they do that?
