Suspension Swap

On Saturday I meet up with this kid in Quincy Ma to swap our suspensions, I was gonna get his AGXs paired with Sprints for my stock suspension. I got there we started but of course we had problems with the bolts on the lower struts. I bought a breaker bar which was a great thing to have with us except for the fact that we broke two sockets trying to get the bolts lose....some poorly made shyt if you ask me. All and all we got one side off of each of our car no problem after the bolt situation and it took roughly like a half hour each. Its a pretty simple job which I was afraid if wouldnt have been since nether of us ever did a suspension swap. Well we decided to call it a day after not even swapping because it was taking so long with the bolts and the store that we got the socket from didnt have anymore of the size we needed. Well today I went to Midas to see how much it would cost just for them to do it for us....hahha they wanted $800.00 just in labor!!! I started laughing. I think i might just use my friends air compressor and have the kid come down here next time and save ourselves a butt load of money. Just wanted to share a story with fellow orgers.

They should have called you stupid that would have been a less insult than try to pull an $800 in labor on you.

Use pb blaster, wd-40, anything, and try to get some extra length on your break bar, it will help.

hope that you're using the 6-point socket n not the 12-point. also, make sure taht you're not using the 1/2 in adapter. cause i bend mine like crazy. as far as an air compressor, i hope he's got a big one. i have a 15 gal tank with a 400lb craftsman air gun, n i couldn't take this kids bolt off....it was kinda pissing me off that i couldn't finish the job. btw...i sprayed like 1/2 can of wd-40 n actually waiting for it to let it soak in n kept spraying it again..what a pain in the a$$
