tiny, tiny small oil leak. 1 question

ok, i never had an oil leak. i changed my oil a few months ago. im about ready to do it again. my question is... the oil is coming like right from the plug in the oil pan, can it be that i didnt tighten it enough and its just leaking like a few drips a day? i just noticed this weekend. its a very small leak. or do i need a new plug? if so, sell me one someone. thanks alot.
