This Is Probably The Worse Week For My Max
So as some of u may remember, I had a thread about a clunking noise when turning ........not too sharp into a parking spot at work. As feared the Driver side Boot is ripped, the CV juice seems to be still fresh cuz i didnt feel any MAJOR chunks of crap in it. So i believe i can save myself from having to replace teh whole axle assembly, and just replace the boots. I am feeling that its time to replace my brakes cuz i've had the car for 2 years, and my aunt never fixed them. SO!!!!!! TO MY ORIGINAL QUESTION
1) I know i need fix the busted boot, i would prefer to go with OEM, but is there anythin that is better or some what close to OEM? Like should i order the kit from the nissan discount websites?
2) I"m not giong to begin a huge argument between x-drilled/slotted rotors, Has anybody gotten the group discount with the rotors/pads/and i think brake fluid? Comments/concerns?
2b) I need to replace the rear calipers, obviously do both, but OEM or good generic brand......links/company whatever?
3) IF i replace my rear o2 sensor, a teacher at school last year told me that the new sensor could mess up the other 2 (front) and would throw another code........Is this true. Or should i get 3 Generic sensors or 1 OEM sensor?
I thank everybody for reading this long *** thread and helpin me out with my problem And ill give out rep points for helping.

1. If you already have the clicking noise while turning, the CV joint is bad and you need to replace the entire axle.
2. Get the brembo blanks from the group deal. Mate them with OEM or Raybestos Quietstop brake pads and you'll have a good setup for daily driving.
2b. www.partsamerica.com - 80 bucks for each caliper (after core charge).
3. If you don't have an O2 sensor code, don't replace the sensor. If you do have the O2 sensor code(s), replace the sensor that corresponds to the code(s). Replacing one will not affect the others.

My cv boot busted and I thought I could replace it myself, but you need a slide hammer to get the joint off. Didn't have that so I had to take it to a mechanic and he replaced the boot for me. Best just replace the whole axle if you have the cash.
