You should only have 2 wires, positive and negative. Connect positive to the positive terminal on your new speakers and negative to the negative terminal on your new speakers. Can't get any easier then that...... Uless you have a BOSE system......and if thats the case you may as well return the Ploks to the store you baught them from.

BOSE or No-Bose? factory headunit or after-market? these facts are kinda crucial...

I suggest getting the harnesses, that way when you want to change up your speakers in the future less hasle, I just "got my splice on" and ended up with very tight wiring back there, wish I hadnt, when I get ready to upgrade speakers it will be a pain to rewire back there.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I can't post new threads and I am having problems with my Bose speakers. My right side speakers (front & back) aren't working at all. What could this be? I'd appreciate any help.

I did the following in a day:

Installed new HU
Ran wires to all four speakers
Installed component speakers
Installed an amp

In about eight hours. It's pretty straight forward so give it a shot and you'll be fine.

Three days ago I took out my Bose system (some electric malfunction) and put in a JVC DV5100. I had to run all new wires to all 6 speakers. After many 3-4 hours of work everything was ready to go.
