I live in MA but the Maxima was purchased in NH. I was cleaning and organizing the glove compartment today and I decided to read the window sticker. I couldn't believe my eyes. On the top right section of the paper it says "CALIFORNIA EMISSION SYSTEMS INCLUDED".
So...does this mean my car has CA specs? I'm not familiar with MA or NH emission standards but are they similar to CA's? |

The top row is the Vehicle Identification Number, starting with J. The second row is model information. The first five characters are BLHUL. The 12th character is the destination: N = Canada V = California U = US, not California |
Thanks Daniel. I checked it out and my car is CA.
