he f'in whaled on me! as soon as it happened i wanted to cry. i was sure i was gonna look and see a crater the size of the pacific ocean in my trunk.. i love my car !! practically no damage, no visible scars, just seems like the rear bumper is loose, and crooked. where do you think i shoudl take it to have it looked over? nissan dealership?? i would post pics but you wouldnt be able to see anything anyways. thats how little the damage is.

p.s. btw, it was all his fault. friggan noob wasnt payin attention.

Glad to see it wasn't too bad. Didn't you get a police report? Insurance should be notified so his insurance can pay for the repairs.

Exactly. There is no point to half the threads around here anymore. I believe his point was "where should I take my car to get looked at?"... why don't you ask somebody you know Novo46.

I hope you got a report. Get a quote from the stealership and then do the work (if any?) yourself. Spend the other cash on whatever . . .

I trust you got the licence plate, driver's licence number and names and phone numbers of any witnesses. Go through insurance. Fixing it right now is the least of your worries.

Go to a reputable body shop, once you get the estimate, and avoid the dealership.

there is a reason for this thread. he is actually a friend of mine from school. we were leaving the school parking lot. i was just asking if i should go to the stealership, since he WILL be paying for it, cuz they probably know more about the car than any other independent shop. and no i didnt need to get a report done cuz he's a friend of mine, and i know his family and his phone numberssss. and NO i didnt need to get witnessses numbers and info cuz, again, he is a friend of mine and he accepted responsibily right away.

Well, you should have stated that in your first post. All the previous confusion would have been avoided and bandwidth would have not been lost. :P I think you should just get the parts and do it your self. Unless, your friend wants a receipt of the work done or parts bought. Otherwise, if it is doable by you, by all means do it and save some cash for gas.

Then post the title "where to go for body work?" or something like that, not "I got rear ended leavin school today!". And no, we're not "addicted" in your opinion, the problem is people ask STUPID questions and post STUPID threads that either the answer can be found by doing some research, (google, faq's, stickies, etc..), or by looking at previous threads on previous pages.

ask my dad?? thanks bud.. wanna know what he would say? "**** you!" "you dont deserve to have a car!" then leave. and my mom is an idiot..

i do understadn that i could have been a little clearer in my original post but i just dont understand why people have to be such ********* about it. one informative response is enough for me. i htink that my waste of bandwith doesnt even compare to the amound of repetitive, insulting responses that people give just to get in the thread.

Or else "idiot" runs in the family!

As much as I hate to say this, why don't you ask your stealership and two or three automotive shops/stores near you who they would recommend taking the car to to be fixed. If one common name starts to appear, go and talk to them, check out their shop and look at some of the cars that appear ready to be released back to the owner.

It is called due diligence. Try and do some legwork yourself and stop whining!

all im trying to say, is your parents had probably lived 20 years of their life before you were even a thought, so in their life experience, they MIGHT have a tidbit of knowledge to pass along to you. and if your dad is really that bad, maybe its time to move out, you seem pretty self sufficient as is. that and the fact that you ASKED us for ideas, and whenever anyone throws one out you claim we're insulting you.
