Raxles.com prices for DS w/ABS?

I checked the website and I didn't see any prices for anything.

Anybody know the price for a new driver's side axle on a 5speed w/ABS off the top of their head?

Is raxles.com the way to go on this? I saw Ceaser's car on the site and felt comfortable with them being a supplier for Maximas.

Is this a job for someone with mid-level skills, and without air tools?

Thanks for any suggestions.

i have all raxles axles on my car and i love them and just e-mail them for the prices and they will give it to you i forget the price off the top of my head.

When I called, I believe I was quoted $120 for the d/s axle with ABS. From what I hear, an axle is an easy thing to swap, especially the driverside (the passenger side is slightly more complicated). That price is without shipping (if they charge it, I don't know). I didn't end up going with the raxle axle because I really never launch my car at all. When I go to have fun in my car, I'm well into first before really accelerating. I have no doubt about the quality of the axles, but it wasn't worth it for me (yet).
I would change out my axle by myself, except I only have a weekend home from college, and I have a lot of stuff planned, and I need to prepare my paint for a month of sitting outside...see the siggy.

I called this week I talked to marty and got $119 for drivers, $149 passengers. He also said they are in stock most all the time. Hope that helps.

They are performance axles. They are not remanufactured, and are filled with amsoil grease inside the cv boot IIRC. They are pretty expensive, and that is why I opted for the axle from ebay (this seller had great feedback) since the only performance mod so far is a 5th gen. clutch and hacked air box.

any word on the quality of the ebay axles. I've been shopping around for axles as well, and am looking for alternates to raxles because of the price.

Pep boys quoted me the other day $70 for each side. Non lsd though.

They are built to stock specs but they do make a high-HP version as well. But those do cost more.... Marty can fill you in on the prices.....

Raxles carry a lifetime warranty that is second to none, the Ebay/Advance Auto/etc will crap out.....

Stock specs for regular axles, there are hi-po applications available for an additional cost :woot:

Is there a core charge as well? do you need to return your core to raxles?

it doesn't take but a few minutes to call or email them yourself and they will answer all of your questions quicker and better than anyone on here can.
