What is this and what exactly does it do? Where can I find instructions?
Thanks

jgadlage Jun 5, 2001 02:47 PM

Have videos and an explination of what it does on my site, but here's the short of it

Makes your AT shift quicker, harder, and operates at a lower temperature thus keeping your transmission internals living a longer life.

Do a search for VB Mod, there are many many threads describing what it does and people's comments on it.

Jeff92se Jun 5, 2001 03:08 PM

For you and only you, that is a resounding Yes!

is it easy to do?? I have some automotive experience, do I need someone to help me out? I will check stillen for a price, or can I get somewhere else?

If you call up Stillen and ask for Don's VB mod, they will say, (in a Tim Allen voice) "Huuuuuuh?"

It's call "Don's VB Mod" for a reason. Try and guess why. (Hint: It's in the link posted above.)

The installation instructions are at the mobiletek website in the upper righthand corner:

Its interesting how all of a sudden everyone hasn't heard about this mod after the group deal has finished...

okmaxima Jun 5, 2001 03:24 PM

I find it interesting that you don't have the balls to come into one of my moderated forums and try pulling this garbage.

For the record, all your actions are being monitored.

Just a friendly reminder from your favorite moderator.

Hmmm...I have to explain your own actions through your posts?....interesting....

okmaxima Jun 5, 2001 03:51 PM

Out of curiosity do you spend all day and night ****ing will members in this forum??

okmaxima Jun 5, 2001 03:53 PM

My, we are bitter, aren't we?

As I said, DO NOT attempt to post in my moderated forums or they will be edited, deleted, and/or locked as I see fit.

If you were able to contribute in your posts and have an ounce of respect for others, there wouldn't be a problem.

Remember, you brought this on yourself. Make sure that finger points at either yourself or a mirror.

I recommend Eric's VB mod. It cuts 2 seconds off the 0-60 time and makes your AC colder too.

Seriously, quit knocking Bill99GXE and Jeff92SE. They've been on the board for a long long time (as have I) and when I did a search for VB mod, I got a ton of links.

So if i get one of these VB mods, will I still be able to sell my car or trade it in ? Do i even have to tell them ?

lmao! yes you will get a six speed, along with your new maxima.org stickers that knock 1 second off of that 1/4 mile time! For a limited time only ladies and gentlemen!

heheh thanks all for the info, i must have missed the other posts about this. I guess i need to pay more attention :gapteeth: Anyway, mom has a 99 se auto and is seriously thinking about this mod because she is sick of my dad and i telling her how crappy the thing shifts.
