I would buy any name-brand fuel filter... however, I shy away from all Fram filters because of the bad reputation earned by their oil filters. There is a contact in this post to get 6 for under $50, plus others mentioned by myself and Daniel. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=42983 As for a fuel filter, I would only go name brand that has a good reputation such as Purolator; otherwise get OEM Nissan. Hastings is also a quality fuel filter maker. Here's the part number: Hastings Fuel Filter: - 85 to 00 Maximas,# GF147 Price: $16.40 - 85 to 00 Maximas wanting to use 300Z filter,# GF270 Price: $15.75 You can find who carries them at this link: http://www.hastingsfilters.com/vendor/index.html Also, for a 4th gen, go ahead and use the 300z twin turbo filter, as it has more surface area and won't break down as quickly. I recommend 15k intervals for the standard filter and 30k intervals for the 300z TT filter. Here's a pic of the difference: http://www.zing.com/picture/p6f28e94...4/feaa224e.jpg Good luck! |

As you can see below, it does fit in my 99 non-ABS: http://www.zing.com/picture/p70a1181...0/feaa228b.jpg Unlike others, I try not run my mouth without backing it up. But you already know that.....;) |
