Mirror

Since you are going with a "white" scheme on the max a black tint wouldnt look right, the mirror will just plane look better. :hat: :fro:

I think both black and mirror would look very good, but you will be harassed 10 times as much by the cops with mirror tint. I got harassed all the time because of my 20% black tint, so I had to take the 2 front ones off.

However, until I get my MV-80 (Exemption from Tint), then I'm getting the whole car re-tinted....muhahhahah

What is a tint exemption and how do I get one?

pawn 06-16-2001 01:03 AM

i think you should go w/ like %5 black, that would look sooooo tight, i think mirror tint only looks good on dark colored care ie) black, blue, green, the white/beige maxes should stick w/black tint, looks alot better.....IMO

Black95Se 06-16-2001 08:10 AM

Yes, what is this exemption. I have 20% on the rears and 30% on the fronts but I want it darker. Can you put another layer of tint on top of another? Or would I be better off stripping the tint and getting 5% which looks extremely good?

GoLdEn MaX 06-16-2001 08:28 AM

To be honest id say a light 35% tint would look good on ur car because ur car is has no dark colors. Limo is impossible to see out at night.

I think a uniform 20% black would look good, give the car a nice contrast look. If you clear the turn signals (I know this has been beaten to death) the rest of the car will have a uniform white look, and you can contrast it with a deep black around the windows and the b-pillar.

exception to tint laws

i had a buddy who had a opthamologist friend that got him an exemption stating that he needed the 5%tints all around..he just carried it with him and showed when needed...thats the only means of getting an exemption that i know of, i feel u should go with black tints, Imo mirror tints look good on silver cars and a few others...i dont think it would go wiht your white...i did 30 up front and 20 rest of way around and im pretty happy with it...I still get harassed but its not as bad as 20 all around
