Have anyone done this? After I get my 97-99 bumper and Trenz grill, I want to get the full Stillen body kit. I thought about molding the kit onto the car. Is it possible and how expensive would it be? I rather do this because with just basically double sided tapes, the kit won't hold too well.

anything is possible with bondo! :D about the price have no clue but painting it would be involved and you can imagine the cost

don't do it, any time you hit something you run into a chance of cracking where you molded the kit to the body.

I wouldn't mold the front. It's pretty expensive to do, and if done badly it's going to be ugly. Also, if you hit your front lip hard enough, you're going to crack the lip as well as the bondo leaving you with expensive repairs. Finally, I've been told by several people, some of them body shop guys, that the bondo will eventually crack due to the seam in the front bumper, where it meets the body. The molding would go over that, and that part flexes some which will eventually lead to cracking.

Hit anything hard at over 5mph and the bondo will crack. If you're worried about the double sided tape, use self-tapping screws on the corners in the fenderwells. My 3-piece spoiler on my GSR was molded on, multi stage process with metal etching primer, fiberglass, bondo, etc....extremely time consuming but it looks flawless with no seems.

Well, I guess it does make sense about the molding cracking eventually. I have a friend that has an Accord with a molded body kit and it cracked within a few months. It looked very good, but it was a major pain when it cracked. I guess I could put extra screws if I want to the kit to be secure.

body kit

when i did my front end conversion i was going to do the mold also but decided against it for a few reasongs. first off the bondo will crack but if you use polyurathain it won't so you can get around that problem. second the lip might get scrached up in the future and its cheaper to get just the lip painted than the whole bumper, and last the bumper doesn't wrap all the way to the wheel so you would have to mold it to the side fender to do the whole thing which isn't a good idea or stop at the bumper which would look odd to be flush everwhere but the last 5 inches. just something to think about
