Hmmm. I'm not sure how they would flow on certain cars. BUT, I'm sure someone will buy these and try them out.

I'd prefer to just put yellow bulbs in the housing and leave it at that.

95bkackmax18s Jun 6, 2006 02:07 PM

thanks vip, ivebeen looking into fogs for months now, these just might do in a few weeks. i just need to find a switch for 97 up fogs. does anyone know if i have a 95 and the 97 ( stalk)switch is 'plug and play'? thanks
-got em on order- yea, and i wanted fogs for months now-

gtr_rider Jun 6, 2006 02:44 PM

That doesnt look bad, I hope for some 95-96 model..

99grnmaxgxe Jun 6, 2006 03:25 PM

I wonder how they would look installed.

ch13f Jun 6, 2006 04:21 PM

I think I would prefer them if the lense was clear but they had the IS300 yellow capsule inside.. They should look good at night while they're on, but during the day is another story.

95 maxima se Jun 6, 2006 04:31 PM

damn i wanna get them since im doing 99 coversion, but gotta wait

Tatanko Jun 6, 2006 05:16 PM

I think it should look good...or atleast better than the obnoxious painted/vinyl'd yellow lenses.

yeah that would be best

ThisMaxIsTight Jun 6, 2006 05:23 PM

man...those ARE HOT !!

RA030726 Jun 6, 2006 05:45 PM

As with all aftermarket lights Im more interested in the beam pattern. So until some one gets pix they are just eye candy.

aznprid972 Jun 6, 2006 07:52 PM

I for one would like to see what they would look like on our cars. I think they might look good but I just want to see it in person or a pic of it on the car first. Photoshop anyone?

carnal_c30 Jun 6, 2006 09:07 PM

I think I saw some on a max last night they looked pretty cool.... yea...

95GLEMAXX Jun 6, 2006 10:02 PM

95 switch is diff than 97

ManualMaxima Jun 6, 2006 10:55 PM

screw beam pattern the fog lights are about pointless anyways cause they do nto do that much, but those look hot as hell

ethnic6 Jun 6, 2006 10:56 PM

I think it looks great as it is... I think it would look good on a black max

I don't know about that man, I don't think I could live without my fogs!

ManualMaxima Jun 6, 2006 10:59 PM

i lie my fog lights but unless they are really aimed up they do nto do that much

RA030726 Jun 7, 2006 04:05 AM

^^ why would you aim a fog light up?

nismology Jun 7, 2006 05:58 AM

They look ok, but capsule mod > * yellow fogs.

Iron Scimitar Jun 7, 2006 06:19 AM

If you had those, i bet you'd save a ton of money in replacement bulbs. You could buy regular ole H3 bulbs instead of yellow tinted ones.

mendon99 Jun 7, 2006 06:24 AM

looks pretty cool, but they're a little pricy

Orrrrr you could get capsules from HIDtech.com and regular ole H3 bulbs and have true yellow light without having the yellow look all the time FTL.

ScoopMAX Jun 7, 2006 07:11 AM

yea i saw those on ebay last night.... i would rather clear or a smoked version personally.

Hacking the OEM foglamp for teh suXor.

MaxxedOut624 Jun 7, 2006 07:57 AM

Those are hot as fcuk. I just got into an accident and am upgrading to a 97 front end, def thinking about these now.

MaxxedOut624 Jun 7, 2006 07:58 AM

That comes with everything needed to do a complete swap?! If so that is cheap for everything included for brand new lenses.

Is it possible to open the foglights up and do sort of a AE mod to them? or do i have to tint them. I've been thinking of changing my fogs a bit.

Possible, but likely not worth it. Unless you have a reason to have your fogs open already, I don't think it's worth the trouble of opening them. You likely wouldn't notice much a difference, either, since the reflector takes up almost all of the "back wall" of the housing. The rest of the housing is dark gray plastic which kind of looks AE to begin with.

I will be trying this in the future, however, so we'll see ;)

99MAXSE-L Jun 7, 2006 01:33 PM

ive done the yellow capsule mod, thats definetly better than just a yellow bulb, which i have also tried. DO NOT put a higher wattage bulb in the foglight cuz it will either burn out faster, or heat up the damn capsule and crack/breaking it. I have to do mine all over again.

But these foglights look good! not sure how they will look though...
