Those OF Your With Ps2's or Dvd's Players Step In

Ok, i hooked up a ps2 to my car and it's running and everything but how do i control the sound? i see no option on my pioneer hu and whether i have the volume at 1 or 60 it's the same on the ps2, is there a device im supposed to have in order to control the sound or something im missing?

how do you have the audio from the ps2 connected to your head unit, and which head unit do you have?

You should have aux inputs for sound and video.

I have a pioneer aux adapter if you need it $45. I'm in Edison. U can use a CD changer AND an aux with this setup.

Most pioneers i believe above the deh-p3000 model have AUX inputs...that should be able to control the volume. Most of the time the aux input is not enabled. To enable it: With the head unit off you have to hold a button, i believe the "function" button and wait for the unit to power on to disable/enable a few featers, such as AUX, M-CD etc.

you need to get a FM module (i think that's what it's called) and u hook that up to the back of your CD player and you be using the AUX channel to hear. Check the SLA on the AUX channel in your CD player to make sure that it's turned up all the way up so you can hear. check bestbuy and any audio store, shouldnt run you no more than $100...it's a plug and play situation,it aint that hard! GOODLUCK.

Aux input harness or cdrb10 or cdrb20 are what you need.

As long as the receiver can control a CD changer this is the best option.

nismos14 Jul 29, 2006 05:57 AM

Yup and I just so happen to have the adapter and live in NJ lol.
