LCA's

My LCA's is rusting pretty bad & the bushings are dry rotted! Should I go ahead and replace them with aftermarket LCA's? New ones come with bushings & balljoints ready to install.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Geo T.

Why, are the bushings & ball joints that come on the aftermarket LCA's not good enough?

No there good. But from what I hear the energy suspension bushings and ball joints make the steering more responsive and maintenance free.

You can go cheapy and just replace the balljoint for around $30.

I use the Energy Suspension bushings and I love them. Tightened up response a lot. And by buying new LCA's it makes install much easier.

My first set I used the old LCAs that I had and I had to burn the old bushings off and beat the sleave off in order to put the new ones on.
