illumina's and dustboots

i have illumina's with eibach springs,

i bought dustboots and all other parts to replace old ones,,, from courtesy nissan,

question: do i have to cut the bump stops on the new boots? or just put em on there

I didn't cut mine, nor did I cut the ones on suspension jobs I did on two other A32s driven by friends. I never had any problems and neither did they.

I think you should cut them, not reason why you shouldn't since you've dropped the car 1.5".

BTW..let me know how you like the ride.

Someone said to cut them half-way. I'm not sure, I bought my eibach/illumina/boot/cut bumpstops all in one unit used.

What settings are you illuminas? Is the ride harsh over city streets? I may pm you.

My recommendation would be to listen to njmaxseltd. I cut mine on my 4th gen.

you should cut them. take off maybe one of those little bubbles. it will give you a little more suspension travel since you are lowered.

alright, cutting it is..

gonna cut 2 bubbles off when i get home later

thanks guys
