I need as many feedbacks as possible. I ordered one today and I want to know if anyone out there had any problems with them. I saw somewhere that the heat shiels tend to break. Is that true? I tried using the search option already,
thanks

Bought mine used, its still fine. Its been on there with my Ypipe since its been on. (more gas?)

Yeah I'm about to get one, I'm wondering if it's worth any gains. I saw some dyno that was real impressive but I dont think I buy it.

Had mine for 10K miles - so far no problems.

Just watch the install with the y-pipe. Spoke with RT a few months ago and they were gonna start including a warning in our kits.

Don't overtighten the bolts too hard. If you do you'll bend those rotating flanges and won't get a good seal. That was my problem and I had a VERY loud exhaust note from 2K-2.8K rpm and various other ranges. Wound up doing a custom welded flange like GregP suggested.

RT Cat added a bit of high end power but not much torque IMO

Yep, high end power.

I added this after I got a pop charger, Dynomax muffler, and the Y-pipe. Noticed some extra throttle response on the highway. First time I dropped it down from 5th to 3rd gear doing 65mph I had a little grin on my face.

If you have close to the same mods I have, you'll gain about 5-6 hp somewhere in the high end. Mabey 7-8 hp on a nice 80 degree day/night with low humidity.
