can't get car out of park
 

hey i just put in my new tranny solenoids. i checked to make sure that the shift linkage was in the right position so i wouldnt have to take the vb off again. the only thing that i could think of that might be wrong was i didnt put a spring back in because i didnt think it was for the vb. its a really small spring. i put the large spring in where it came from. this spring is about an inch long and really skinny. what would cause it to not shift out of park. i just took the pan off to check the linkage its perfect.
