Door won't open...... Part II

Introduction
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=494231
Anyways, I can open the driver door from outside now

Details
I had been happy about the outcome, till last night.

When I hit lock/unlock on the remote, I could see the small pieces of lock/unlock indicaters go in and pop out on all four doors through the windows. When hit lock, the rest three doors are locked, could not be opened. But the driver door can still be opened even it is locked and the alarm "sometimes" goes off.

WTF, at first, I could not open it, now, I can't lock it?!

However, if I use my key to lock the door, it locks.

I checked the motions of the rods inside the door, and everything seems fine.
I checked the battery on the remote, and it's good.
I checked the relay (2523079972, anti-theft/start) in the relay box, and it's good, too.

Conclusion
Now, I am confused. Maybe getting a new door could solve the problem. :rotz:
The last option of mine is just go on with a key and abandon the remote......

Any suggestions welcome~

I'm confused on what's happening. Is this the stock alarm or aftermarket? can you verify if you're using a single pulse or double pulse unlock?

Stock alarm....
Everything is working the way they should be expect the "lock part" of the driver door. When I do either a single and double pulse of lock, the doors should be locked but I still could open the driver door from outside. Since it's in a lock mode, so the alarm goes off.
Since it's the driver door, single and double pulse of unlock should both unlock it. I have no problems at all on getting in.
Maybe the solenoid doesn't have enough force to make the acuator go into the lock mode? Man, I don't know what I am talking about now......

Just curious... to rule out anything electrical, try disconnecting the battery to the car, give it a few sec, and then try the lock/unlock stuff on the driver side again. This should let u kno if it's a mechanical or electrical problem. And just for kicks try the passenger side and see what happens.

Jae, thanks for the advise.

I did disconnet the battery to try, nothing changed. I think it's mechanical now. Plus the passenger side works fine......
