Iron Scimitar Oct 24, 2006 06:06 AM

:mrgone: $3000 rims

XAugusta MoonX Oct 24, 2006 06:07 AM

I agree. Sorry man, but that's just nasty. Not in a good way.

JSMax Oct 24, 2006 06:23 AM

well, the color is interesting. I've never seen a civic... er I mean a maxima with lambo doors before. The rims stick out and that's gonna destroy the paint on the fenders. Interesting idea with the buick style fender vents.
Over all it's a show car and that's not my thing, but that's why we are all different.

mbandi Oct 24, 2006 06:27 AM

:rotz: All I can say.

acidspit86 Oct 24, 2006 06:31 AM

your joking right? i hope this guy isn't on maxima.org, i dont want to be labelled as a person with tastes like that

99grnmaxgxe Oct 24, 2006 07:31 AM

HAHAHAHAHHA please stay away from a Max if you are into that style. :Puke:

Maxgig Oct 24, 2006 07:31 AM

No four door should have lambo doors, or those cheapo alteeza tail lights. Overall, at the end of the day he does care alot for his Maxima you can't argue that.

chuckd2k Oct 24, 2006 08:04 AM

I have always wanted to see what a maxima with lambo doors would look like.
For what it is (a show car) I like it, minus the lowered/raised look. But it's not something I would model my car after. It's not practical.

nexgenmax Oct 24, 2006 08:10 AM

This put new meaning of this :worthless

ILLeSt MaX Oct 24, 2006 08:11 AM

u guys have to give him props though... he slapped some 22's on there.. i didnt even know that was possible...

JEXTEL Oct 24, 2006 08:13 AM

sry but i like it I come from where big rims are the sh|t

Nissan 6 Oct 24, 2006 08:13 AM

oh I thought you really were being sarcastic.

supaneko Oct 24, 2006 08:20 AM

I think it looks pretty nice... Though, I don't think I'd exactly go with these exact mods, it still looks very nice. It's kinda nice to see someone doing something that not everyone else has done.

scrhale Oct 24, 2006 08:28 AM

HAHA ... automatic, extremely heavy rims, tons of audio equipment. Slower than stock.

Yeah. It gets me from A to B.

Fr33way™ Oct 24, 2006 09:18 AM

Wow, after I posted that I realized our cars are almost identical.

Come to miami, and you will see rims larger than life itself on a maxima lol.

Max_Out Oct 24, 2006 09:32 AM

good god... with all the money he put into the esthetics of that max, he could of had a beast of a sleeper max. with alot of money left over.

supaneko Oct 24, 2006 09:47 AM

WOW... I dunno what it is but the more I look at those pix the more I like it. I have to say it: It's nice to see some originality. All the other Max's I see when I browse around this forum feature the same mods as everyone else. This guy seems to have done some things that not everyone else has.

Hell, after reading his mods list on CarDomain, it looks like he did all the same stuff as everyone else but had the ballz to go a little further and be original.

I'm surprised I like it so much...! :D

woww, are u bein serious? how is that possible?? do they cut the fender liner or something? you should take some pics, i wanna see..

Supermax95 Oct 24, 2006 10:16 AM

that picture he posted is actually the best picture of that max.....the front end is just fugly.

d00df00d Oct 24, 2006 10:18 AM

Some people pay $200 an hour to have a fat woman put cigarettes out on their tongues and tell them how worthless they are.

Others like to stand on the side of the road with posters full of meaningless collections of words and yell randomly at nobody.

This guy puts Lambo doors, weird pokey tail lights, huge chrome rims with no-pro tires, and Buick-like fender accents on his Maxima.

...Whatever makes you happy.

Supermax95 Oct 24, 2006 10:19 AM

look at the tv he mounted in his glovebox....he ****ed up his dashboard.

JEXTEL Oct 24, 2006 10:20 AM

I cant over how much room there is in the fender wells

d00df00d Oct 24, 2006 10:27 AM

Did you notice that the wheels are sitting outside the fenders? There has to be that much gap or the wheels would rub like hell.

JEXTEL Oct 24, 2006 10:29 AM

yea? he siad there were mods to it(spacers and adapaters) but I saw some 8.5" 22's and with 37 offset I think they fit good with miniaml srucb on cornering

albo Oct 24, 2006 10:31 AM

mmmm not my personal favorite.... i guess there people that dont know how to spend there money in more better way on a car...

Fr33way™ Oct 24, 2006 10:42 AM

There are "Buick" holes in his fender.

If it makes me unoriginal to have a cleanly modded Maxima without speed holes than so be it.

BTW how do they "fit good" if they are NOT IN THE WHEEL WELLS.

Fr33way™ Oct 24, 2006 10:43 AM

I am not going to say whether I like this car or not, but to say that the wheels fit well is hilarious.

if you mean totally f up a car then your right. he's done it unlike anyone else! :buttkick:

ouzo99max Oct 24, 2006 11:01 AM

I'm not really a fan of all the TV's and what not but this guy's car IS pretty sick. I would rather have that money put into performance but you really can't hate on this dudes maxima. Its sicko

I love that. Minimal scrub on cornering. As if it's okay to have a little, as long as it's not a lot...

But yes, there are mods in this one, and that is exactly the point. He needs spacers in the front so that the wheels stick out enough that they won't rub (as much) when he steers. That means he needs spacers on the rear wheels as well to make them look even with the front. So, now all four of his wheels are sticking out of the wheel wells. If he lowered his car, the tops of his wheels would rub the fenders every time he hit a bump. Unless, of course, he had SUPER stiff springs... which I dont' think he would have because they would rattle his gold teeth out and make dead sure his rims imploded the first time he hit a big bump.

See?

"HOOD $649, RIMS $3000,LAMBO DOORS $1300+,PEOPLES FACES WHEN THEY REALIZE IT A MAXIMA PRICELESS"

You bet your arse it's priceless. It's rare to see so many people pointing and laughing at you at the same time.

I guess I gotta do what i gotta do, to fit them

cruzer82 Oct 24, 2006 12:18 PM

Whatever floats your boat.... It definatlely takes some work to get the car like that but I dunno. I think it's one of those car that you see on the road and go "why would you do that to a maxima"? maybe a cadillac or something since they handle like crap anyway.. but those rims and all the extra weight just destroys the fun to drive factor of the car... but to each his own I guess.
