Few questions that I didn't find in the faq

1- How do you program the homelink visor to open your garage??

2- Is there an easy way to take off the door to replace the door hinges, my door is hanging low and I have to slam it to get it to close... I'm just wondering if there is a way to do it without taking of the fender??

3- I know the lights are different on the trunk from 95/96-97/99 models but does the trunk lid still line up??

I have a few more questions but I'm going to search around the forum more becuase I'm sure they were asked before..

1- i think there is a thing in the stickies somewhere
2- Probably a way to do it without taking off the fender...ill check my FSM and edit
3- yes u also might want the rear bumper since it has a contour line that flows with the trunk....and make sure u put the lights in the right sockets

edit.....the FSM doesnt say anything in my quick looky about removing the fender...might just be a matter of having the right tools to get in the tight spots

Cruser82,
More than likely your garage door has rolling codes. Make sure your Homelink has the little house symbol otherwise it won't work. If you do have the symbol all you have to do is hold down the two outer buttons for a few seconds to clear any codes on it right now. Once you've done that hold down the button you want to program and put your door opener against it until the red light flashes real fast. Mine took about 4 seconds. If the door still won't open you have to hit the learn button on the garage door opener itself (check your manual for the exact location) so it will recognize the Homelink system. Hope this helps.

1. There is info in the stickies about the homelink.
2. Just put a jack stand under the door and change the hinges one at a time.
3. Everything lines up but you need new tail lights I believe.
