HELP! Car Runs Sluggish Won't go Over 30MPH/Shuts Off!
 

I can drive around in my Maxima it runs fine up until I get on the gas and try to accelerate to over 30MPH and while running if I rev up to 4,000RPMS it shuts off as long a sd I drive under 30MPH it runs fine.......suggestions thanks fellas!!!!!!! :confused:

Of course MAF usually limits revs to 2500RPM, or thereabouts. Could be a plugged cat or other exhaust component, but that usually just plains limits engine/vehicle speed, doesn't cause an engine cut.

Any codes...?

MAF. See if it's loose or has corroded connectors. It's right after the airbox.
