85watt H3's safe to use in OEM fogs?

I've had my OEM foglights cracked due to 85watt H3's. I am not sure if it is due to the great change in temperature between inside of the lense compared to the cooler winter air outside, but that's my best guess. Anyone with similiar or contrasting experiences please chime in. I'd like to purchase these bulbs again but I just wanted other opinions.

I have had Hella Yellowstar 85w H3 bulbs in my car since 1997. No problems.

Speaking of FOglights Is there any way i can install Fog lights on my Gxe. It seems like i would be drilling the Bracket into the Radiator?

100-watt H3s ("off road use only") are also available if you are interested in blinding oncoming drivers.

Try a projector retrofit on your foglight housings and go HID if you need that much light. :lolrun:
