LCA's, BJ's, and Tie Rods..need some advice
 

Hey guys, The front suspension on my dad's 95 Maxima is pretty much dead. I know for sure that the balljoints and inner tie rods are gone. So Im thinking about replacing the balljoints, inner and outer tie rods, LCA's, and sway bar endlinks.

For my 3rd gen, I just ordered the arms and rods from internetautomar and installed ST sway bars.
I was thinking about getting the parts off ebay:

possibly all of the above mentioned parts in a kit for $250.
But after reading many posts by Dubbya and others here:

I am thinking otherwise.

I found a brand from Kragen Auto parts called "Treadsaver". They have inner and outer tie rods for only $13!! Has anyone used this brand before??

They also have TRW for $25.

So here are my options, either get the entire ebay kit with the arms, bj's, tie rods, and endlinks.
OR get the tie rods from kragen (either TRW or Treadsaver) and probably get some Moog BJ's, and ES bushings...Are stock bushings available for a good price?? ( i dont think my dad would appreciate the harsher ride of the ES bushings)

i have purchase the ebay full front end, from the bestsuspension seller something like that.

It was a good price. ~$205 shipped for the same thing as you have posted. Parts are holding up very well. Last time I checked no boots torn yet, and its been about 7 months so far.

Sorry if it's a little off topic, but how do I check if the balljoints and inner tie rods are gone ?
When my car is on a lift and I shake the front wheels to the left and to the right there is some play, less than quarter of an inch.

Go to Rockauto, I got just about everything there. The ebay stuff is hit or miss. Lots of times they switch suppliers so you may get something decent, or you may not. If you go with Rockauto you can choose from name brands at great prices.

Sometimes it tough to pin point the issues with suspensions. Check tire wear 1st, then do some of the easy test. Grab the wheel and wiggle at 12 and 6 o'clock for wheel bearings, 3 and 9 o'clock for tie rods. Visually inspect the parts. I had an issue I couldnt easily pin point. My tires wore irregularly after an alignment and I thought they messed up or I had a bad tie rod. Come to find out it was the wheel bearings. They only had play when the axle was removed. I did a full overhaul on the suspension and replaced EVERYTHING.... Sometimes its just got to be done.
