Speedometer and odometer don't work

Is there a fuse I can check?

Everything else on the cluster works.

Olezhka Feb 11, 2007 07:03 PM

I just replaced the starter today, maybe I pulled out a sensor or something while I was under the hood.
Where is the speed sensor located?

Olezhka Feb 11, 2007 07:16 PM

The wiring for the speed sensor is right there clipped to the motor mount.

The sensor itself is behind the starter, mounted on the tranny.

Go back and inspect both of these.

Olezhka Feb 12, 2007 12:50 PM

ThurzNite Feb 12, 2007 01:04 PM

There's couple other threads saying remove the cluster and tighten everything on the back.

Olezhka Feb 12, 2007 01:10 PM

Yea well I fixed it, it was unplugged near the starter

98MaXeDouT Feb 12, 2007 01:13 PM

Same thing happened to me, it was a fuse in the panel under the dash. I can't remember which one off the top of my head, but it was definitly the fuse, check them all...
