Oil Leak Problem (pic)

I decided to come to you guys for help. My car has been leaking oil for quite some time. I finally replaced the oil pan gasket because that is what I thought it was. Apparently it is not, it seems to be leaking oil from this hose looking thing. If you guys could help me out id appreciate it
Now here is the pic

that appears to be the wire going to the oil pressure sensor.

Replace that part and you should be set

It could very well be the oil pressure sending unit, but before you go and replace it. Check where the leak is coming from, is it apparent from above? Mine is leaking from the rear valve cover and it leaks down onto a few things then onto the hose going to the sending unit. it looks like the sending unit is leaking but its not. Unfortuntely the thing that seem to go bad, are always the hard ones to replace...it couldnt have been my front valve cover the easy one to get at, instead its the rear which requires me to remove my intake plenum and etc..

uhhh, that concentration of oil is right underneath the oil filter. The oil pressure sensor is around the corner on the other side. How do you guys suggest the oil gets from the OPS around the corner to where the oil filter is?

Check your oil filter before replacing anything. Look closely at the filter and make sure nothing is leaking out of there.

Alright so I went to AutoZone today and picked up my parts. I got a brand new oil filter along with the Oil Pressure Switch.

Got the car up on the jacks
[IMG][/IMG]
Installed everything. Everything seemed to look good.

And when I started the car up, it still leaked but only worst
[IMG][/IMG]
And here is a pic of it while it is running
[IMG][/IMG]
It looks like it is leaking at a flange joint above the axle
Please help!

I dont think this is good. Like I said its hard to tell where the leak is coming from. We fixed one thing because the car only leaks now when it is running. I think it might be a valve cover gasket? Heres a pic

Yea stay away from FRAM. <-----No good

Gaskets usually seap out...not really leak leak...if its coming out like a really bad leak, i think somethings not tight

Check to see if your filter is tight. Also check that the filter gasket from your old filter was off the motor when you installed your new one.

Its not leaking from the Oil Filter or the Oil Pressure Switch. Its leaking from up above the axle.
