:dig:Yet again. Where did you read that the upper oil pan had to be removed? The lower oil pan has to be removed and there are two screws that need to be removed. That's it!!

Thanks for pointing that out. I am about to undertake a similar repair on a 97, can anyone point in the best direction for help, I am somewhat savvy mechanically I would just like to fully understand the procedure before I start. Pictures, blow by blow account what ever. Thanks
