I would like to ask if anyone has the problem of your engine not starting when the key is turned on. I have a 1995 Maxima and just had the Coolant, Crankshaft, and Knock Sensors replaced. Now when I get in the car to start it and turn the key all I get is the dash lights coming on and not a sound. After the car sits a while I go out and turn the key and then it cranks. This just started happening after the knock sensor was replaced on Friday. The folks at the repair shop said that they can't find a problem since it will not happen when they look at the car. Over the last month I have put almost $1000 in this car on replacing the sensors, please help if anyone has any idea what the problem could be.

Yep, same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. Would start kinda sluggish when cold, not at all when warm. Starter is $139 at AutoZone. Not too hard a job if you have 1/2" drive sockets and breaker bar for the two starter bolts.
