Car pulls to either side intermittently!

My car will pull to the right significantly for a little bit, then it will go away and go straight, then it will pull to the left significantly once I drive it again. I'm thinking theres a bubble in one of the tires and its throwing everything off, or the alignment is way off, or a caliper is locked up...any thoughts?

I had a similar issue to what you're describing. Turned out I needed control arm bushings. Something you might want to take a look at. I ended up purchasing Energy Suspension bushings from Courtesy Nissan. Good luck.

How worn are the tires? When was the last time they were aligned? Proper air in all tires? Could be numerous things, start the process of elimination.

I've been doing that the last couple of days lol...

The tires aren't too worn, they have about 6 months left in them or so. There is about 32-35 psi in each tire as we speak. I just bought the car the other day so I haven't had it aligned yet...but the question is this, if the alignment was off, the car wouldn't pull to both sides back and forth would it? That would mean that the alignment was changing constantly which doesn't make sense...

sounds like something is loose. doesnt sound like a tire balance issue - in fact, it doesnt sound like a tire issue at all. control arm bushings or boots is a good guess.

How much do the ES bushings cost and where's the cheapest place to buy them from? Are they easy to install or is it better to have a shop do it?

Don't guess at it. Put the car in the air and shake down the front end. Sounds as though something is worn out.

I think I got them for like $50 from Courtesy Nissan about 2-3 years ago. Check the Group Deals section...maybe they have a ES deal.

I didn't feel it was not that hard. I've heard some people on here recently say that they were having a hard time. Matter of fact you may want to do a bit of research for the thread. If I'm not mistaken org members had tips and links to other threads on how to do it. Its been so long for me that I can't remember if there is any "tips" that I can help you with. I just remember needing an air chisel to get the bushing out. So its a mix of your ability and resources.
