Just got an alignment today, and tire pressure is good.
Haynes says either a front break is dragging, or "broken or sagging springs". I believe the springs are fine, and only a rear break is dragging. Could RSB be somehow responsible?

By any chance did you get the printout of what your car was tracking from the guys that did the alignment? That shows your camber/caster/toe settings as it comes off the rack.

Some cheap alignment shops/garages only set the toe. If you have camber/caster errors, the car will pull. I'm not sure if you can adjust camber/caster in the 96. Daniel B. might be able to look this up and give you the specs.

Actually the only alignment adjustment on 4th gens is front toe, that's it.

Yeah I would check to see if your alignment is within specs (the printout should tell you what your car has, and what the acceptable specs are). A full suspension check is also a good idea.

The trouble with some shops (especially the guys who advertise a $39.95 "special") is that if a wheel is anywhere within the "factory spec" range they won't adjust it at all. Their attitude is "Duh, it meets the spec, that's good enough." You have to find the skilled technician who will take the time to adjust your car until the wheels are at the Nominal specification, or as close as humanly possible. Be prepared to pay extra for this because it takes extra time.
