would 20 inch rims on a 1997 infiniti i30 fit in the wheel well w/o any modifications of the wheel well?
Yes, as long as you don't lower it. If you lower it at all you will have to roll the fenders to fit the wheels in.
Correct. You can lower it though as long as it is a 45mm offset and you are runnnig nothing wider than 8.5 and using a 245/35 tire as well as roll the fender. You can also get away with a 255/35 tire depending on your set up.

thats the guy, white I30 on 5 spoke dubs, just slipped my mind
Yeah 20's are possible on an I30/Max. The only mod you really have to do is roll the rear fenders. Just be sure to get the right offset rim (mines are 38mm) and no wider than a 255mm width tire. For looks sake, you MUST lower your car and if possible add on a body kit if you don't want your car to look like a 4x4.

like theblue said, one pot hole and you need new rims. Plus 20's are to damn heavy. I personally dont like anything over 17's. I think ill just stay with my stock 15's. take care

At least I can drive around on just about any road here without constantly worrying about screwing up my tires, rims and underbody parts. Hell, I can't even think about an aero kit! There's one guy here that lowered his car and then removed the lowering springs completely so he could drive with piece of mind. Even says in his sig "I will never lower my car again! :D |
