Red/Clear 97+ max's, how well does your rear-end match?

what kind of material did you use to make the clears in rear (name/where you bought it)?

is it pretty close to the color of the reverse lights or an exact match?

I just went to OSH and got a florescent light cover for like $3 or $6 I forgot. Anyways look for the "how to" on making them

Acrylic flourescent light cover sheet (Home Depot, Lowes, OSH)

I used the same type of light cover material as everyone else. Here is the best pic that I could find:

Its not a perfect match, but from a distance its not noticable. Its a lot better than the orange too!

I was one of the first people to do this mod.

I would say it looks 99% factory. This is awesome.

I've done stillen intake, OSCAI, ypipe, clear corners, FSTB and exhaust and stuff, but, by far, this is the MOST SATISFYING mod I've ever done. You will not regreat it. Do it soon.

But it took me like 3,4 hours first time I did it. Now I can do it much faster becasue I got lots of pracitice doing similar stuff on friends Hondas.

Ya know, you could always replace the factory reverse lense with the same type of lense used for the outer tails. I did this the first time I cleared the amber pieces, I figured it looked better, but now I'm just settling with the factory inner tails, and clear/red outer tails.

I used a florescent light cover....noticeable real close but from a distance you cannot see. Easy to do after the first light. Hardest part was heating up and then separating the lenses.

Good luck!!

Ok now i been lookin at these pictures and i been trying this mod on an extra broken tail light i have and does the flourescent plastic sit on the lense that goes over the whole tail light, or do i cut it out and fit it into the where teh orange piece was?

I replaced all 4 lights with a florescent light cover. See how it turned out for yourself:

I don't get why no one sells diamond cut inside red/white light combo, the ones that fit on the trunk itself (when it opens, the red/whites go up)...

It sits on the lense that goes over the whole tail light, not where the amber piece was.
