Wiring Harness on 99 SE-L

After two trips to the deal, was told my wiring harness needs to be replaced. As of now, my TCS Off, Slip and Service Engine Soon lights are on. My car had 35942 when the lights first went on. Was told they needed to order the part and it would be safe to drive the car until then, but they could not say if other "electronic" items would go while driving.

Has anyone had the wiring harness replaced on their 99?
And, with the defective wiring harness can it cause an electrical fire?

I have a 99 SE-L and I have had no problems with the wiring harness. I'm sure that a defective wiring harness can cause major problems and/or electrical fire. You should ask for the old parts back!
