Problem Solved With Noise From Driver's Side Windshield Wiper
 

A while ago I posted a thread on the mysterious clicking noise emitting from the driver's side windshield wiper. The noise would come on/off whenever the wiper is on and I couldn't figure it out.

As it turned out I had put on a spring clip from walmart design to hold down the wiper so it wouldn't chatter at high speed. After taking it off the noise went away for good. The extra tension from this spring clip must've caused additional stress to the wiper motor. Good thing I took it off before any permanent damage to the wiper motor.
