Winter tire reccomendations for stock 15's??

right now i have som crap "affinity" tires on my 15's. I dont wanna spend a whole lot but i do want something good for rain/snow and maybe a lil cornering action too. Any reccomendations on brands would help:)

i was thinking of Dunlop or GoodYear maybe an HR rated tire

Tire Rack Winter Tire Packages

Tire Rack has (4) Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 205/65QR15 with (4) New Steel Wheels (15X6) for $488. Add a set of wheel covers for $24 and you have a nice winter set-up. The tires are one size smaller than the OEM (215/55 R16), which means they are cheaper and will cut through the snow better. They still maintain the same overall wheel diameter (actually 0.18" difference) so your speedometer won't be affected. A good idea if you get a moderate to heavy amount of snow. And just think, while you are running these winter tires your not wearing out your summer tires. There are some different options but this is the least expensive and I've read a lot of good things about Blizzaks winter performance.

Get a set of Nokian Hakkapelitta tires. These by far are the best tires I've ever used.
