led's for gauge cluster
 
i got the inverted led's installed but i dont like the way they look. theyre just not bright enough for me. what led's can i use that are bright but dont have hotspots?

seems to be hit or miss with inverted leds. Success seems to come from regular leds and sanding them into a cone shape when you get them. The cone shape gives an inverted light distribution and cuts hot spots apparently. Try that out.

Yes, it works wonders. Seriously. I have little to no hotspots. Of course, I still have half white, half blue gauges... >.<

Inverted LED'S
 
I got my blue ones from here. http://superbrightleds.com
They all worked with no hotspots. I used them on the interior doors, gauges, dome light, glove box, and in the trunk also. I've had no problems with them and they were a good price also, just plug and play. I will post pics when I can.

I'd definitely recommend sanding LEDs to help disperse the light to cut down on hotspots. That's what I did.
