thats ****ing bull****. dont take **** like that from anyone. FIND HIM

by my math:

every inch of keying = 1 broken bone

so measure it up, grab a pair of pliers, and start the search. there are 206 bones in the human body. i would start small.

You got off easy. ******* keyed 5 of my body panels after he parked in my spot and I told him to move.

I know who it was and recognize his car every now and then, but I decided just to let it be.

Still I would like to run a key across his face to this very day. WTF is up with people, seriously...

*GASP*

That's absolutely terrible! Is there any way to buff that out?
One of the reasons I don't like parking on the driveway. I don't get a spot in the garage

Can you report it?

depending on how much your car is worth dictates how much you should spend on a paintjob.

minimum is gonna be 500-600 and thats for a ****ty job.

if you want to make it look factory again (or close) your gonna be looking at 1200-1500

A family friend of mine has a shop. Sunrise, in staten island, a few minutes away from the goethals. A good paint job is $1200 at the least. Could be up to $1800. I have seen the cars standing outside the booth drying up, and it is worth every penny.

The friend that I bought my car from spent damn near 2K for the paint job. The front of the hood has bubbles, the rear driver side quarter panel is warping big time, and they didn't take the door trim off like they had to. You really have to know who you trust your car to.

A friend of mine that lives in weehawken came out of his workplace (best buy) to find his newish acura tsx keyed on all doors and panels. Paid 500 deductible to have whole car repainted, and a month later, it happened again. Paid another deductible to have the whole car repainted. No more problems since.
To me, someone that keys your car has no ba1ls. If there is a problem, come to my face, and let's deal with it. Keying someone's car is a cheap way out without confronting the person. And it also puts your life in danger if the other person finds out. I felt a lot of anger when my friends car was keyed, and I have no sympathy for people that commit these crimes.

Usually painting is about 250 a panel, out here in NY I can get a "Good Deal" to have a whole car repainted for 2500.

If you're spending the money you will want a better then factory paint job, one where they actually bake your car at 158 deg. Comes out looking like a mirror, no waves, no impurities. those paint jobs are a little more money, but totally worth it.

Ummmm, dry time doesn't have anywhere near the effect on quality as proper prep/mix/spray.

I have a dent in both my passenger doors. Yea hit and run. Beautiful huh. I called the junk yard they want 300 for the front door and 200 for the back. If you can tell me where to get doors for 35 bucks. I need to know. I will drive to get them within reason of course.

Just remember. You have the nice car. He doesn't have anything. He was probably jealous of you for having all that you have. He has already lost in the game of life. Just let it be and get your car fixed.

Usually when you say "let's just say" it denotes following implications and certain things left to the imagination.
