Powder Coat?

Powder Coat?

i was thinking about powder coating my rims. no money to get it done, so i was going to do it myself. anyone have tips?

Aircraft Paint Remover helps a whole lot!! And buy good paint dont get any cheap paint.

Are you kidding me? Do real powder coat yourself? Do you have any idea how to eeven bake/heat/coat/cure it, let alone what you need for real powdercoat..

I Think you talking about spray painting them? Because I think you have no idea what powder coating really is......

there this gun that sprays it... we have it at my job they paint motors with it... does a pretty good job..

you have to cook the paint on and that can make the rim brittle and thats why rims are painted. I looked in to it and its not a good idea over all.

Whats wrong with DIY powdercoating? Definitely doable and would be much cheaper if you plan to powdercoat a bunch of stuff.

If you want your rim to fall off powder coat it. If you like to live and want to see tomorrow paint it.

the bad this with powder coating is they chip.....like if you nick a curb or anything like that one scratch turns to a spot......not to bad tho...good luck keep update if you do it..
