High Beam/Low Beam REWIRE question
#2
use a diode .... directs the power one way. would be the only way i could think to do it. why not just get a better set-up? HIDs FTMFW!!!! check out the conversion from our 9004 to a 9007 bulb (brighter, but not HID bright)

yeah, it is the HID setup.
Unfortunately for me it is for 9006/9005 setup, and I just got FX35 projectors which are bi-xenon. Meaning I will need low beams to stay on while the high beams direct the power to the shutter motor opening the lens fully.

I bought some cefiro's which use the h4 bulbs...they're quite a bit brighter than the stock 9004 bulbs. The only downfall is that the beam pattern isn't so great unless you get OEM cefiro's...

I hope you set them up with relays, if so just install a diode across the low beam and high beam wires going into the relays. You may still need a capacitor to keep constant power to stop the hid flicker. Im not an expert on the HID's but there are diagrams floating around, check out hidplanet.com.

Here I come to save the day! Check it mate, this is what you need to do. If any questions, post em, someone will answer them. But ... next time try searching. this thread was not hard to find at all (has nothing to do with the fact that I started it either)

You got bi-xenons too, huh? That looks like some crazy sh**... I'll have too look into that closer, looks like I blew a fuse in my head looking at that diagram.
Thanks mate
