I30 ooglie clear corners idea

Yoinked this from someone at the TL forum. Whoever did this originally, great idea. Anyway, for those who can't afford the one-piece headlights (although please, please get them if you can) here's an idea for you.

This was done by covering the reflector part of the headlight with chrome vinyl. You can get it at any tint or sticker shop. Another idea for a material would be a super-dark (like 5%) mirror tint.

(apologies to whoever's pic that is, I stole it for the greater good )

With just that little orange reflector, I think the I30's corners would be a perfect candidate, and even if it doesn't turn out well it can't cost more than $10 to try.

my brother is in South Korea right now in the Air Force...i'm trying to get him to find some Cefiro parts for us...one piece headlights? maybe we can get a good deal...i'll keep everybody updated...

I'll go back over to the TL board and see if I can find one, but this isn't my idea. As for how long, not more than 5 minutes. Putting on vinyl is the same as putting on tint - put some water with a tiny bit of soap in it on the back, apply, and wait for it to dry.

Re: I30 ooglie clear corners idea

Before I got the Cefiro headlights, I put reflective white vinyl over the orange reflector on the stock corner. looked pretty good.
